Glade are giving you the opportunity to win a trip for a family of 4 to Lapland when you purchase an eligible Glade product from a participating retailer.
2. How long is the promotion running for?
The promotional period is from 01.10.20 to 31.12.20. Entries must be received between 00:00:01 01.10.2020 and 23:59:59 31.12.2020
3. Who can enter this promotion?
The promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 or over only, excluding employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, their agents and anyone else professionally and directly connected with the running and marketing of the promotion and the provision of the prizes.
4. How old do I have to be to enter the promotion?
You must be 18 years or over to enter this promotion.
5. I am not in Great Britain. Can I still enter?
Only residents of Great Britain can enter the Promotion.
6. Do I need to be connected to the internet to enter the promotion?
An internet connection and valid email address are required to enter the promotion and to claim your prize if you are a winner.
7. How do I enter the promotion?
To enter the promotion, purchase an eligible Glade product (please see rule [7] in the full terms and conditions for a full list of eligible products) from any participating retailer within the Promotional Period and retain your receipt. Receipts must be dated within the Promotional Period. A separate purchase and receipt are required for each entry. Visit www.gladejourneytolapland.com, enter your personal details, upload an image of your receipt and enter the last five (5) digits of your eligible Glade product EAN. You will then play the mini-game before being asked to submit your entry. All valid entries will be entered into a prize draw.
8. Where is my EAN?
Your EAN is the 13 digit barcode number located under the barcode image on the packaging of your eligible Glade product. Please click here to see a sample.
9. Do I have to purchase a Glade product to enter?

12. How often can I enter and how many times can I win a prize?
You may enter once per email address per day. You may win one prize per household.
13. How many prizes are available to be won?
There are five prizes in total available to be won. Four are available to be won via entry from any retailer. There is an extra prize available to be won via entry from Sainsbury’s only.
14. What is included in the prize?
The prize is a trip to Lapland for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 18). The prize consists of 4 return economy flights from local major/capital city airport in home region to Kittilä, Lapland, transfers to and from airport, 4 nights/5 days in 4-star accommodation in Ylläs. Accommodation will be in a chalet apartment (including a spa package); dinners and breakfasts included. Excursions can be organised for winners once in Lapland and could for example include a visit to a husky and reindeer farm. Trip must be taken before end of February 2022 or trip will be automatically invalidated. Winner will be given a series of trip date options and asked to select their preferred 3. The prize provider will then arrange the trips. Basic travel insurance (excluding pre-existing medical conditions and COVID-19 related cancellations) is included. The available prize trip dates are between 01.01.22 and 28.02.22.
Terms of travel
- At least two of the travelling party must be over the age of 18 years.
- The winner and his/her guests (the “Winners”) must be in possession of a valid 10-year passport (children must be in possession of a valid passport for the trip) and must have a minimum of 6-months validity for the duration of the prize holiday. Once the Brexit transition period has expired, requirements for UK passport holders travelling to EU member states will change. It is the winner's responsibility to check up to date government guidance before travelling. All entry visas, ESTA forms, and/or travel documents are the sole responsibility of the winner including visa costs if applicable. Cloud Nine Incentives Ltd. (the prize fulfilment company) does not arrange entry visas.
- If winner wishes to take 4 adults aged 18 years or older on the Gold Prize trip rather than 2 adults and 2 children, it should advise the Promoter as early as possible so Promoter can assess additional costs (corresponding to 2 adults) which will be for the winner to pay.
- Winners must provide a copy of their passport and those of their guests to ensure names are spelled correctly and are valid for booking of flights and accommodation.
- Winners must give at least 60 days' notice prior to their requested departure date.
- Basic travel insurance is provided (not covering pre-existing medical conditions and COVID-19 and/or other pandemic related cancellations).
- The holidays are subject to availability and blackout dates will apply unless specifically pre-arranged prior to the competition being run. Blackout dates include peak Christmas (December 10 to January 5 annually).
- The winner must take the prize during the period January 2022 – February 2022. The winner will be requested to select three separate dates of preferred travel from the list of dates provided and Cloud Nine Incentives Ltd. will work towards fulfilling at least one of winner's preferred date of travel. Prizes not taken within 12 months of winner notification will become null and void and the relevant winner will no longer be entitled to their grand prize
- Unless otherwise stated in the package, all other costs including meals and spending money are the responsibility of winner.
- Once confirmed in writing, travel dates and names of those travelling are not changeable without incurring extra fees and may not be possible if a non-refundable or non-changeable ticket has been purchased.
15. How are winners selected and notified?
After the closing date of the promotion, winners will be selected at random via an automated algorithm. The four main prizes will be selected within five calendar days and the Sainsburys-only prize will be randomly selected via an automated algorithm from those who entered via Sainsburys purchases also within 5 working days. For the avoidance of doubt, entrants via Sainsburys are also eligible for the other four prizes.
Winners of a prize will be contacted via email by the prize fulfilment company within 14 calendar days of the draw. It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that the details that they have provided upon entry are accurate. They will have 10 calendar days to respond to the winner notification email. Although the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners, if they do not respond within this period, it will be deemed that the winner has refused the prize and up to 2 reserve winners selected at the same time as the prize winners will be contacted in the order they were drawn and in the same way as the winner. If the prize cannot be awarded to any of the 2 reserve winners, then the Promoter has the right to keep the prize and to consider it unallocated.
16. Are there any date restrictions for the taking the prize?
The winner must take the prize during the period January 2022 – February 2022.
17. What do I do if I am unable to book my trip due to travel restrictions in my area?
If you are unable to book your trip due to travel restrictions in your area, you will be able to take your trip at a later date when travel has resumed again in your region. The trip will need to be taken by March 2023.
18. What happens if my trip is cancelled due to Covid?
If your trip has been cancelled due to Covid, the holiday provider will get in touch with you to let you know and you will be able to reorganise your trip for a later date. The trip will need to be taken by March 2023.
19. I'm having trouble entering my details, what should I do?
Please make sure you are following all the on-screen directions carefully, and that you are entering all fields marked with an asterisk (*). Any mistakes or errors you make will be prompted online.
